SAA provides every boy and girl in Smithton, Illinois and the surrounding communities an opportunity to participate in boys baseball, girls softball and co-ed T-Ball. We encourage youth comradery through a common interest in sportsmanship, fair play and teamwork, while keeping the welfare of the boys and girls first. We maintain playing facilities to meet the SAA objectives while promoting the games of baseball and softball in this community.

The Smithton Turner Society has dedicated itself to providing opportunities to build strong kids, strong families and a safe community. We maintain a large banquet hall and park which is used for the community. With the help of the Turner ladies we have helped create a safe and beautiful community.

Village Storm Shelter
A shelter location for severe weather is located in the education/office building behind St. John United Church of Christ located at 7 South Street. The building will be opened when a tornado warning is issued for the Village of Smithton. Please remember no pets are allowed.
